Introduction
Alongside AutoaWeld, Autoa Cell Editor can be used to create the robots, positioner, and environment within a work cell. Built the Unified Robot Description Format (URDF), Cell Editor defines the position, kinematics, and constraints of an environment allowing Weld to generate code for the robotic welding. With these tutorials and detailed references, learn how to create work cells using Cell Editor to develop your robotic welding environment.
Getting Started
To get started with Autoa Cell Editor, it's recommended you follow the installation guide, then proceed with the 5-part cell-editor walkthrough prior to viewing the remaining tutorials.
- Installation outlines the process of installing the cell editor.
- Cell Editor Walkthrough 1. Creating a Robot goes through creating your first cell then describes the process of importing a robot from a STEP file and setting it up for use with Weld.
New Features
